Air movement is important in the greenhouse to provide the crop with a more natural environment, preventing stratification of temperature and humidity.  Reducing the fluctuations of temperature and humidity by stirring the air can reduce the incidence of fungal diseases in the crop.  The air movement helps to maintain a drier leaf surface inhibiting the germination of fungal diseases thus reducing the number os sprays required.  It also improves the distribution of carbon dioxide in the greenhouse reducing the depleted zone around the active photosynthesizing crop canopy, improving crop production.

Growers Requisites Aircool centrifugal evaporative fan cooling system is ideal for use in greenhouses, livestock sheds and many other applications.

Aircool does not require the use of complicated high pressure pumps/lines, mist nozzles or compressors.

Growers Requisites Aircool fan uses a unique high-speed water disc centrifuge that atomises water at mains pressure (1-6 bar) into a super-fine spray.  It does not suffer, therefore, from the typical clogging of nozzles or have the high maintenance of other systems.

The water disc atomising centrifuge operates at a very high rpm using it's own separate motor drive.  It is located in line with the fans exhaust outlet, which efficiently disperses a body of cooling water vapour.

Growers Requisites Aircool fan unit can be expected to reduce internal air temperatures by 4-8 degrees* and in some cases will reduce air temperatures below that of outside air.

*Aircool produces a droplet size ranging from 10-25 microns, dependent on the set flow rate.  The evaporation rate and achieved performance is symbiotic to the environments' relative humidity and droplet size produced by the Aircool.  Aircool is not designed for chemical application.

NEW! ES SHUTTER FAN WITH 10' CORD

 

Growers Requisites team of ventilation design engineers have taken our extremely popular ES Exhaust Shutter Fan and added a 10' cord for “No Electrician Required” installation. The ES fan consists of an agriculture grade, variable speed motor (12"–24") attached to an aluminum shutter with tie bar to eliminate shutter flapping and locking open. The motor is connected to the shutter with a heavy duty chrome plated OSHA approved guard. The fan is totally assembled the factory so you just pull it out of the box and plug it in.

Growers Requisite Eziwinder winch incorporates a unique self locking planetary gearbox that holds the roll up the wall at a set position wherever desired by the operator.  One Eziwinder will operate up to a 50 metre (164') length wall.  The gearbox design provides a reduction ratio of 4.5 to 1.  This makes the Eziwinder an effortless system to use.
